US History 1 (Period 1):

*Current Events due January 25th!!! Follow the procedures described in class. Find an article from a magazine, local newspaper, internet. Attach the article to your current events paper. 5-7 sentence summary on the article and then 5-7 sentence opinion on the article.
Tuesday - Constitutional Convention Slavery DEBATE lesson

Wednesday - Lesson 3: Ratification Debate
                   - Federalists vs. Anti-Federalists Worksheet

Thursday- Discuss Ratification Debate with Bill of Rights
              - Students will begin working on review materials for the chapter

Friday - Chapter study guides are distributed
           - begin studying for the chapter test

              - Students will be handing in their portfolios and their vocab tomorrow

Wednesday - Collect portfolios and Chapter vocabulary
                   - Students will be working on their projects

Thursday - ME Political map Quiz
               - Introduce ME research project

Friday - Act 80 1/2 DAY
           - CURRENT EVENT QUIZ

Wednesday 1/16/13
We will begin our CULTURE PROJECT TODAY.  This project will take place over the next several weeks and the due date will be February 22nd. Students will have several days in class to work on the project however a majority of the work must be completed on their own time.  Please remember for 7th grade there is an after school program Monday-Thursday until 5:30 students can attend for extra help.  Students can also see me until 3:10 anyday for extra help.
